#ERW2018 – European Robotics Week: Bringing robotics closer to citizens

Visit us at the #ERW2018 Central Event in Augsburg!

The European Robotics Week 2018 (#ERW2018) is about to begin! Starting this Friday, Nov. 16th, until next Sunday, Nov. 25th, the #ERW2018 will fill the European continent with plenty of events that show how Europe is at the forefront of robotics. It is also the perfect occasion to bring the robotics’ state of the art closer to European citizens. PAL Robotics invite you to find your nearest event and discover robotics from first-hand!

The opening of this exciting week will take place during the ERW Central Event in Augsburg, Germany! As for the previous editions of the ERW, our commitment to the robotics field made us sponsor the Central Event. We are traveling to Bavaria with the humanoid REEM-C, the service robot TIAGo and the platform for logistics TIAGo Base.

The rapid evolution of robotics over the last years makes us envision a prompt entrance of robots in our lives. Initiatives like the #ERW2018 raise awareness of the robotics’ potential and status, demystifies misleading ideas around it, and more importantly, it involves the whole society into discussing the role robotics should take in our lives.

Come to meet us at the robots exhibition in the Augsburg Zeughaus! Plenty of activities are organized, from debates with experts to events for children, and you will be able to have a hands-on experience with our service robots!
