Our challenging yet rewarding journey began in 2004 when a group of passionate engineers came together with a bold vision: to create the first humanoid robot in Europe and enhance people’s lives through service robotics.

We introduced our very first robot, REEM-A, in 2005. This was our big debut, showcasing the incredible potential of humanoid robotics in various fields.

By 2006, REEM-A could walk, play chess, and recognize faces, objects, and voice commands. Watching our robot make such remarkable progress was like seeing our dreams walk, talk, and think!

We were super busy this year, working on something really exciting!

In 2008, REEM-B joined the family with enhanced features and improved performance. This sturdy and capable robot helped us solidify our place as leaders in the humanoid robotics industry.

Big news in 2009: we integrated the Robot Operating System (ROS) into our robots. This made our software development smoother and opened doors for better collaboration within the robotics community.

2010 saw the development of REEM-H1, our first robot created to be a service platform. It was a significant step in our evolution, setting the stage for even more versatile robots.

We were up to our elbows in robot parts, working on something awesome!

REEM made its debut in 2012, embodying our commitment to continuous improvement. Designed for both entertainment and service, REEM was a versatile solution for various tasks.

REEM-C arrived in 2013 with improved mobility, interaction capabilities, and enhanced AI functionalities. This robot was perfect for research and development in human-robot interaction.

We jumped into our first EU project, “Factory in a Day,” in 2014. This was a huge deal for us, showing our expertise in creating robots that could quickly adapt to new industrial tasks. Since then, we’ve been part of over 60 projects.

In early 2015, TIAGo Base debuts as a robust platform empowering advanced robotics solutions for research and industry.

The same year 2015, we launched StockBot for inventory management. This robot took us into new territories, including logistics and inventory control using RFID technology.

Later in 2015, we introduced TIAGo, offering a versatile platform for personal assistance and research. TIAGo brought new capabilities in mobile manipulation and service applications.

We were heads down and hard at work on some really cool stuff!

TALOS hit the scene in 2017 as a high-performance humanoid robot designed for advanced research and industrial applications. This robust robot handled complex tasks like a pro.

We spent 2018 perfecting our latest innovations. Great things take time!

In early 2019, we launched TIAGO++, bringing enhanced capabilities for research and industrial use with improved manipulation capabilities, featuring two arms for more complex tasks.

Later in 2019, ARI joined our lineup, focusing on interactive services and customer engagement. ARI came equipped with an interactive screen, face tracking, and conversational capabilities.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, we quickly adapted TIAGo Base robots to assist in healthcare settings. They delivered medical goods, food, and disinfected high-traffic areas with UV lights.

In 2021, we launched Kangaroo, showcasing our knack for innovation and bringing new, unseen solutions to the market.

We were quietly making strides and preparing for our next big leap.

In early 2023, TIAGo Base AI was released, further enhancing our offerings for both professional and consumer applications with advanced features and improved user interaction.

Later in 2023, TIAGo Pro made its debut, reflecting our dedication to listening to feedback and continuously improving. This new version offered state-of-the-art features for professional applications.

This year, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary! It’s been two decades of innovation and excellence. And what a better way to mark this celebration than by making our Kangaroo ready for sale, opening up new opportunities in the robotics market.
