PAL Robotics joins ADRF 2026 to strengthen Europe’s AI and robotics ecosystem

TIAGo Pro in Porto

PAL Robotics will take part in the AI, Data and Robotics Forum (ADRF) 2026 as a Gold Sponsor, bringing TIAGo Pro and highlighting its contribution to European robotics research.

PAL Robotics, a Barcelona-based robotics company with more than 20 years of experience developing service robots, will join ADRF 2026 in Porto, an event bringing together researchers, technology developers and industry representatives working to advance Europe’s AI and robotics ecosystem.

As a Gold Sponsor, PAL Robotics will highlight the role of collaboration in turning robotics and AI research into technologies that can be tested, validated and ultimately applied in real-world scenarios.

European research in action

At ADRF 2026, PAL Robotics will highlight its work in RoboSAPIENS and MANOLO, two European collaborative projects contributing to advances in robotics and trustworthy Artificial Intelligence.

Through projects like these, PAL Robotics works alongside partners from across Europe to develop, test and validate new technologies on physical robotic platforms, helping connect research with practical applications.

Discover the TIAGo Pro ecosystem

Visitors will also be able to meet TIAGo Pro, PAL Robotics’ mobile manipulation platform for robotics and AI research.

Designed to support areas including manipulation, perception, navigation and human-robot interaction, TIAGo Pro provides researchers with a platform to move from software development and experimentation towards testing on a complete robotic system.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to discover TIAGo Pro Arm, the latest platform to join the TIAGo Pro ecosystem. Designed for advanced manipulation research, the standalone robotic arm offers seven degrees of freedom and a ROS 2-based architecture, supporting work in areas such as manipulation, robot learning and AI-driven robotics.

Collaborating for Europe’s robotics future

For PAL Robotics, ADRF is an opportunity to strengthen connections across Europe’s AI and robotics community and continue building bridges between research and industry.

Meet PAL Robotics and TIAGo Pro at ADRF 2026 in Porto!

PAL Robotics started in 2004, when a small group of engineers built the first fully autonomous humanoid biped robot in Europe which also happened to play chess. Today the company is still well known for humanoid robots, as well as retail and manufacturing solutions, and develops state-of-the-art robots for companies and research institutions worldwide. PAL Robotics’ mission is to enhance people’s quality of life through service robotics and automation, and the company has also partnered in over 60 collaborative research projects to further the development of robotics.
