Thank you for helping us build robots!

This video summarizes IROS 2015. The event gathered together all kinds of institutions, universities, companies and people involved in robotics, who saw there the latest advances in the robotic industry, like TIAGo. We were glad to come across with some of the companies that provide us of key parts that make crafting our robots possible.

PAL Robotics team was happy to talk to ATI’s account manager, Milton Gore. ATI supplies us the Force/Torque sensors that we implement in robots like REEM-C – one example of this configuration is TUM’s REEM-C. TIAGo’s Titanium version is also using ATI’s Force/Torque sensor on its wrist.

Our colleagues from Harmonic Drive were also exhibiting at IROS 2015, with Erik Rörig and Markus Richter representing the company. Harmonic Drive’s reducers are some pieces of a great importance for all of our robots. REEM-C and TIAGo are examples of the robots in which we use their reducers, which are one-of-a-kind in the market.

Thanks to suppliers like these we can build such amazing robots that we develop nowadays. So to them, and to the many others, a big thank you![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
