PAL Robotics led the development of the ros_motion_builder package, offering a streamlined solution for designing complex robot motions. The aim of these tools is to allow users with minimal technical knowledge to easily create, modify, and manage robot motions. By providing a user-friendly system, efficient motion design becomes more accessible for the overall community.
Key responsibilities
- Create a versatile tool that allows users to control robot joints, positions, and speeds through a simple API.
- Design designs a user-friendly GUI that hides the technical complexities of ROS communication, catering to non-expert users.
- Ensure the package functions seamlessly in both simulated environments and with real robots, enabling flexibility in motion design and testing.
