Project overview

EnrichMe developed an application for TIAGo to support older individuals, especially those with dementia, in their daily routines. Pilots in Poland, England, and Greece showed TIAGo helping seniors for up to 10 weeks with reminders, meal suggestions, tracking temperature, finding lost items, and offering memory games and exercises. Feedback indicated improved autonomy and engagement.

Our Role

As part of the EnrichMe Project, PAL Robotics customized TIAGo to integrate RFID technology, sensors, and interactive capabilities to assist older individuals in their daily routines and cognitive exercises.

Key Responsibilities

Integrating RFID and sensors to locate items and track temperature.
Creating an app for routines, reminders, and meal suggestions.
Adding memory games and exercises.
Measuring impact on autonomy and well-being.
Providing technical support during pilots.
