Robots Inventing Tools – MetaTool Demo

We’re excited to announce that PAL Robotics is a project partner in the Metatool Project, a groundbreaking initiative exploring how robots can invent and use tools, inspired by the way prehistoric humans adapted their environment.

On April 2, 2025, at the Museum of Human Evolution in Burgos, Spain, we will showcase a live demonstration featuring our TIAGo robot, the star of the event. As part of the project, TIAGo will attempt to solve a problem by thinking of and using a tool, showcasing advanced AI-driven reasoning and adaptability.

This event offers a unique opportunity to witness cutting-edge robotics research in action and discover how these advancements could impact various industries in the future.
