PAL Robotics is heading to Rome for I-RIM 3D 2026, taking place from October 23 to 25. The event brings together the Italian robotics community, researchers and industry professionals to exchange ideas and explore the latest developments in robotics, artificial intelligence and Human-Robot Interaction.

Two members of the PAL Robotics team will contribute to the programme, sharing their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of robotics.

Marco Rosa will participate in this round table, discussing the opportunities, challenges and potential impact of adopting AI and intelligent robotic systems in industrial settings.
18:00–19:30 | Towards Next-Generation Human-Robot Interaction: From Development to Real-World Deployment

Francesco D’Orazio will deliver an invited talk titled “Recent Advances in Human-Robot Interaction and Real-World Robotic Systems”, exploring how developments in HRI, ROS 2 and AI are helping bridge the gap between robotics research and practical applications.
