Our Role

PAL Robotics will lead the development of the cognitive architecture for ARI, aimed at enhancing adaptability in social interactions. We will validate the functionality of the architecture and assess its benefits compared to traditional pre-scripted interaction protocols. Additionally, we will validate the technology in healthcare applicative scenarios, particularly in a day hospital setting for users of diverse ages.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading the development of a cognitive architecture for ARI to support adaptability in social interactions.
  • Validating the functionality of the architecture and assessed its benefits compared to pre-scripted protocols.
  • Conducting validation tests in healthcare applicative scenarios, focusing on a day hospital environment catering to users of diverse ages.
  • Aiming to create a social robot capable of human-like interactions while adapting to users’ needs and environment.
