PAL Robotics highlights collaborative robotics innovation at European Robotics Forum 2026

TIAGo PRO advanced mobile manipulator for collaborative projects

PAL Robotics will take part in the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2026 as a Gold Sponsor, joining the European robotics community for one of the sector’s most important annual gatherings. Each year, ERF brings together researchers, technology developers, companies and policymakers to exchange ideas and explore the future of robotics in Europe.

The company will welcome visitors at Booth 36-37, where it will showcase several of its robotic platforms designed to support both research and real-world deployments.

Robotic platforms built for diverse applications

At ERF 2026, PAL Robotics will showcase ARI, TIAGo, TIAGo OMNI Base and TIAGo Pro with its teleoperation station, highlighting how its platforms adapt to different use cases and enable automation and smart services across sectors such as healthcare, assistive living, retail and industrial operations. These platforms are designed to support both experimentation and deployment, giving developers, researchers and organisations the flexibility to explore new service robotics applications in real environments.

At the booth, visitors will also have the chance to teleoperate TIAGo Pro themselves and see how the Teleoperation Station extends the robot’s capabilities, enabling intuitive human-robot interaction and supporting data collection for advanced AI and learning systems. Hands-on demonstrations like this highlight how teleoperation can help bridge the gap between human expertise and autonomous robotic systems.

Connecting with the European robotics community

For more than two decades, PAL Robotics has worked closely with universities, research centres and industry partners to develop service robotics technologies. The company has participated in almost 70 collaborative projects, helping researchers test new capabilities while accelerating the transition from laboratory research to real-world applications. Through these collaborations, PAL Robotics provides robotic platforms that enable partners to experiment, validate technologies and explore new applications across multiple sectors.

At ERF 2026, PAL Robotics’ team will also share updates on several of the European projects the company is currently involved in, highlighting how collaborative research continues to drive innovation and bring robotics closer to real-world deployment.

A milestone moment for euRobotics

The forum will also host important moments for euRobotics aisbl, the association that connects Europe’s robotics community across research, industry and innovation. During ERF, the General Assembly will formally confirm the association’s upcoming leadership transition. PAL Robotics’ CEO, Francesco Ferro, has been nominated by the Board of Directors as the next President of euRobotics, pending ratification at the Assembly.

As euRobotics enters this new chapter, PAL Robotics looks forward to continuing to contribute to a collaborative European robotics community where research and industry work closely together to advance innovation.

About PAL Robotics

PAL Robotics started in 2004, when a small group of engineers built the first fully autonomous humanoid biped robot in Europe which also happened to play chess. Today the company is still well known for humanoid robots, as well as retail and manufacturing solutions, and develops state-of-the-art robots for companies and research institutions worldwide. PAL Robotics’ mission is to enhance people’s quality of life through service robotics and automation, and the company has also partnered in over 60 collaborative research projects to further the development of robotics.
