MANOLO

Project description

The MANOLO project aims to improve the efficiency and optimisation of AI systems in various operational environments. This project focuses on developing a comprehensive suite of trustworthy algorithms and tools, enhancing AI models’ performance in both centralised and cloud-edge distributed settings. MANOLO is set to advance the state of the art in AI by researching model compression, meta-learning, domain adaptation, frugal neural network search and growth, and neuromorphic models. A significant aspect of MANOLO is the creation of dynamic algorithms for data and energy-efficient allocation of AI tasks, ensuring compliance with policy standards and facilitating trustworthy deployment.

PAL Robotics will be taking part in the project with the Mobile Manipulator, TIAGo, which will be used in the Robots in Manufacturing and Healthcare use cases.
