Resumen del proyecto

The Semi-Autonomous Care Robot project combines REEM and ROSE robots with tele-operation and advanced task learning. The goal is to create a semi-autonomous, robust, low-cost service robot for the care market. Both hardware and software were developed and tested in real care settings. In 2015, the first TIAGo prototype was manufactured, featuring a haptic system for teleoperation, enabling one assistant to help multiple patients simultaneously.
