That is why PAL Robotics\, through PAL Italy\, is proud to support and participate in the 4th Doctoral Summer School on Robotics and Intelligent Machines (DRIMS 2026)\, taking place from August 30th to September 6th in Livorno\, Italy! \nDRIMS brings together the brightest minds from the global PhD community to explore the cutting edge of mechanical design\, vision\, AI\, and human-robot interaction. \nWe’re looking forward to engaging with students\, sharing industry insights\, and exploring how researchers can turn disruptive ideas into real-world robotics solutions. \nOur agenda\nThis year\, we’ll contribute to the programme with two sessions focused on one key question: what does it take to turn robotics research into real-world impact? \n💬 September 3 | From Lab to MarketFrancesco Ferro will join the round table dedicated to the journey from research to market in robotics and intelligent machines. Together with the DRIMS community\, he will share insights into how innovative ideas can move beyond the lab and become impactful real-world solutions. \n🔧 September 4 | Technical session & TIAGo Pro live demoLorenzo Ferrini\, from our Mobile Interaction Team\, will take a closer look at the technical capabilities of TIAGo Pro\, with a special focus on its ROS interface. The session will conclude with a live demo\, giving participants the opportunity to see TIAGo Pro in action. \nWe can’t wait to exchange ideas with the DRIMS community and connect with the next generation of robotics researchers. \n💡 Let’s co-create the future of intelligent robotics through research\, education\, and collaboration!
