September 27 - October 1
Did you know that the word “robot” was first used in Prague, Czech Republic? This fact could not fit better with the fact that this year’s International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2021) was supposed to be taking place in Prague, however, due to the current situation in the world and everyone’s safety, it will be held online. The IROS 2021 is hosted by the IEEE and it focuses on creating a place to gather new findings and ideas, discuss across the robotic community, and many more. We are pleased to announce that as partners of OpenDR EU Project, we are organising a workshop within the event: “Open Deep Learning Toolkit for Robotics: Towards Democratizing Artificial Intelligence”, which will focus on this project. This workshop is organized by Francesco Ferro, CEO – PAL Robotics, Sofia Battilana, Relationship & Events Manager – PAL Robotics; Alessandro Di Fava, Technical Coordinator of EU projects & Robotics Engineer – PAL Robotics; Anastasios Tefas, Associate Professor – Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; Nikolaos Nikolaidis, Associate Professor – Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; Jens Kober, Associate Professor – Delft University of Technology; Erdal Kayacan, Associate Professor – Aarhus University. For more information about the workshop, visit OpenDR’s website. Make sure to get your ticket to IROS 2021 and we hope to see you at our workshop!
