INBOTS Conference 2021

On the 18-20 of May, European project INBOTS, that we are a partner in, is holding a closing conference, in which the project, it’s purpose, the process and the goals achieved will be presented. This will be a key event where relevant stakeholders in the field of robotics will be invited and involved. Experts from academia, industry, policy makers and EC representatives will be invited to give talks and to promote the acceptance of robotics in the society. During the event, different sessions will be taking place, where topics such as robot safety, their interactivity to alternative approaches and legalities will be discussed. At the event, PAL Robotics‘ CEO, Francesco Ferro, on the 18 th of May at 17:00 (CEST), will participate in a panel discussion on “Interactive Robotics – supporting tools for SMEs including standardization aspects”.  This panel will also be joined by Nicola Vitiello from IUVO, Georg Glasewald from YUANDA robotics, Igor Aristizabal from Tecnalia and Enrico Bonadio from City University of London. Our EU Projects Manager Sarah Terreri will also be presenting an overview of the interactive robots market on the 18th of May at 15:25 (CEST), with companies such as IUVO and Tecnalia What is INBOTS? INBOTS CSA focuses on interactive robots, meaning all those which work closely with humans. This is the framework where PAL Robotics’ robots are also placed since their mission is to actively collaborate with people. INBOTS is an excellent opportunity to support each other and grow a positive European robotics ecosystem altogether.
