The 18th Annual ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human Robot Interaction (HRI) is getting closer! Join us in Stockholm from 13-16 March to discover the latest research, ideas, and applications in Human-Robot Interaction. PAL Robotics is proud to be sponsoring the 2023 edition of the conference and to be able to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in HRI. Our team will do a live demonstration of the open-source Natural Language Processing of the humanoid social robot ARI with a game testing the robot’s story-telling and speech capabilities. Our HRI research team:
- Senior Scientist in social robotics Dr. Séverin Lemaignan that will present a workshop on HRI Pioneers, as well as participate in the LEAP panel. In addition, he is part of the Organisation Committee, in which he is the Publication Chair in charge of coordinating the publication of the papers presented at HRI 2023, as well as being a member of the Steering Committee that decides on the next edition of the HRI conference.
- Senior Scientist in social robotics Dr. Raquel Ros will participate in the workshop Advancing HRI Research and Benchmarking Through Open-Source Ecosystems to systematically develop benchmarking methodologies for HRI.
- PhD student in Social AI Lorenzo Ferrini will present his work on semantic gaze control in the workshop Semantic Scene Understanding for HRI
