Mobile World Congress 2021

The Mobile World Congress 2021 (MWC) is an annual and the world’s most influential exhibition organised by GSMA, dedicated primarily to the mobile communications industry. MWC will take place 28 June – 1 July in Fira de Barcelona! On the 30th of June PAL Robotics CEO, Francesco Ferro, will be participating in a panel discussion on “How Data & AI Engage the Customer” at this year’s MWC Barcelona at 11:00 CEST in Fira Barcelona. This session will focus on successful business strategies from AI and data implementation, opportunities and challenges faced and what is in store for the new connected consumer. Ferro will discuss this topic alongside Mercedes Jiménez López from Telefonica, Vasco Pedro from Unbabel and Fernando Nunez Mendoza from FonYou. PAL Robotics CEO during the panel discussion will talk about the EU project OpenDR, that we take part in, which focuses on achieving the development of the non-proprietary toolkit, in this case it refers to a set of deep learning software functions for core robotic functionality, harnessing deep learning to provide advanced perception and cognition abilities.
