International Conference on Robotics and Automation 2020 (ICRA) is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society’s flagship conference and the premier international forum for robotics researchers to present and discuss their work, and this year PAL Robotics will be attending. The 2020 conference will be held from 31 May to 4 June 2020, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris in Paris, France. The conference will include plenary sessions, contributed paper sessions, workshops and tutorial sessions, forums, videos, exhibitions, and robot challenges.

At this year’s ICRA event PAL Robotics will present:

TALOS – PAL Robotics’ most advanced humanoid robot – and its capabilities, such as:

  • Torque sensor feedback in all joints
  • EtherCAT Network
  • 6kg Payload per arm

ARI – the expressive, helpful and entertaining robot that helps you design the social interactions you are aiming for:

  • Easily integrate your AI algorithms
  • Build connections with your users
  • Gather useful data

TIAGo – and the family of robots, based on a modular design, including the latest arrival, TIAGo++, the bimanual manipulator:

  • Adaptable to your research needs by customization
  • Add Artificial Intelligence into TIAGo skills

This year you will have the chance to see a demonstration of the MEMMO project at their booth, which focuses on developing a unified yet tractable approach to motion generation for complex robots with arms and legs. In this case, the latest advancements of the TALOS robot will be showcased. In addition, you will be able to learn more about the RobMoSys project, which focuses on developing an integrated approach built on top of the current code-centric robotic platforms, by applying model-driven methods and tools. TIAGo´s latest improvements will be presented at RobMoSys’ booth at ICRA.
