The IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots (Humanoids) is the internationally recognised conference of the humanoid robotics community. The event was established in 2000 and has been held annually to present research and development in humanoid robots. The event is a forum for researchers in humanoid robotics to discuss findings in areas such as mechatronics, control, perception, planning, learning, Human-Robot Interaction, AI, and cognition.

For the 2022 edition, the Humanoids conference will take place between 28 November and 30 November at the Okinawa Convention Centre in Ginowan City (Okinawa prefecture, Japan). We will be taking part in the event as Silver Sponsors and we are looking forward to participating!

At the Humanoids conference, our team will be present at the PAL Robotics’ booth, as well as organising the workshop on “Advancements in Trajectory Optimization and Model Predictive Control for Legged System” with our colleague Enrico Mingo Hoffman to discuss the work on model-based optimisation approaches. We will also take part in the workshop “Development and Design Pipelines – from first ideas to well-functioning robots” about the development of our robot Kangaroo with our invited speaker, Pierre Fernbach. In addition, PAL Robotics’ CEO and founder Francesco Ferro will also participate in the workshop “Can We Build Baymax?”.

We hope to meet you at  the Humanoids 2022 Conference! Get your tickets here and see the current and future developments of humanoid robots!
